Terms of Use

These terms explain account responsibilities, professional and educational limitations, billing, recurring subscriptions, acceptable use, third-party services, and service conditions.
Agreement to the terms
By creating or using an AdjScope account, and by affirmatively accepting the policies presented before a paid checkout, you agree to these Terms of Use together with the Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Service Limitations & Exclusions that apply to the service or purchase.
Using AdjScope
You agree to use the platform lawfully and only for information, records, workflows, learning, and other activities you are authorized to perform. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for protecting your account credentials.
Independent platform
AdjScope is an independent software and education platform. It is not the Texas Department of Insurance, Pearson VUE, an insurance carrier, a law firm, an engineering firm, or a substitute for official licensing, legal, policy, carrier, engineering, or other professional guidance.
Public adjuster licensing and compliance
Users are responsible for maintaining any license, bond, appointment, insurance, authorization, or qualification required for their work. Rules, fees, forms, deadlines, and testing requirements can change and should be verified with the applicable authority.
Exam preparation
Practice exams, explanations, study tools, certificates, and training materials are educational resources only. They do not guarantee a passing score, state approval, licensure, employment, or professional competency. An AdjScope practice-exam certificate is not a state-issued license.
Claim workflow and AI tools
Claim-management, estimating, scoping, carrier-reference, AI-assisted, deadline, and documentation features are workflow aids. Users remain responsible for professional judgment, policy interpretation, estimates, communications, filings, deadlines, regulatory compliance, and final work product. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed by the user before reliance.
Prices and purchases
The price, billing frequency, included usage, trial terms, and other material purchase terms shown at checkout apply to that transaction. Customers must affirmatively accept the applicable policies before AdjScope initiates a paid checkout.
Free trial and recurring subscriptions
When a professional plan is offered with a 30-day free trial, a payment method is required to start the trial. If the subscription is not canceled before the disclosed trial-end date, the displayed annual subscription price may be charged through Stripe and the subscription may renew at the applicable annual price until canceled. Previous subscribers are not automatically entitled to another free trial.
Cancellation
Customers may use the available billing-management tools to schedule cancellation of a recurring professional subscription. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while allowing access through the current trial or paid-through period. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund and does not automatically delete historical account or claim data.
Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Duplicate or erroneous charges will be investigated and corrected when verified. A customer experiencing a material AdjScope platform-side failure must reasonably cooperate with troubleshooting and give AdjScope an opportunity to resolve the issue before a service-failure refund is considered, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Third-party services
Integrations, links, payment processors, carriers, government resources, connected applications, internet service, devices, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and availability. AdjScope is not responsible for failures, decisions, policy changes, outages, account restrictions, or data handling that are controlled by third parties.
Acceptable use
You may not use AdjScope to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload malicious code, misuse another person’s data, violate intellectual-property rights, conduct unlawful activity, evade payment obligations, or attempt to bypass account, billing, entitlement, usage, or security controls.
Availability and changes
AdjScope is an evolving software platform. Features may be added, changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued. AdjScope will use reasonable efforts to provide the service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Account action for misuse or risk
AdjScope may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security threats, fraudulent activity, unlawful use, material violations of these terms, nonpayment, or conduct that threatens the service or other users. Historical records may be preserved as appropriate.
Limitation of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, AdjScope is provided on an as-available basis without guarantees that every feature, recommendation, training result, estimate, integration, workflow outcome, third-party resource, or AI output will be complete, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for every situation.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as AdjScope evolves. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. The version accepted during a checkout may be retained in the customer consent record.
